Compact (ATS) Automatic Transfer Switch

ATS (automatic transfer switch) bundle which can be used in conjunction with an ATS-ready diesel generator. The Hyundai 100A single phase automatic transfer switch can be used by those requiring instant power backup when there is a mains failure by the national grid.

The ATS connects to the generator using a length of communication wire which in this case is provided at a length of 20 m. As the diesel generator will itself be kept in a standby mode, and only used infrequently, there may be considerable amounts of time during usage, which can normally lead to the battery draining down. The ATS has a built-in 12v battery charger which uses the communication cable to keep the generator battery charged up so that when you need it, the generator will fire up straight away.

For the ATS and generator to talk to each other, aside from the wire which connects them, there must also be the presence of a digital signal receiver, fitted to the back of the generator. All of the above is included in this package. See below for more details of what this listing provides:
